  1. Does it hurt?
    Most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. A numbing cream can be applied, making the process well tolerated.

  2. Is there downtime?
    Mild swelling or small bruises are common, resolving within a few days. Lips may feel firm before softening into their final result.

  3. When will I see results?
    Immediately, with the final refined appearance once swelling settles — usually within 1–2 weeks.

  4. How long does it last?

How to prepare for treatment:

Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, or blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours prior (unless prescribed).

  • Pause retinol, acids, or exfoliants around the lips 2–3 days before.

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free lips.

  • Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if you are unwell.

  • If prone to cold sores, consider prophylactic treatment to prevent a flare.
